Chocolate mould project

In this project you will explore plastic processes and their applications.

Building on the theme of shaping plastics you will develop your understanding of the vacuum forming process as you design, develop and manufacture a range of intricate, multi-layered chocolate moulds.

You will work through the design process before manufacturing the wooden former used to shape the sheet plastic.

Moving into the food technology area you will put your chocolate moulds to the test as you make your own batch of unique chocolates.
